New Look for the Rubicon Blog!

As many of you have noticed we just completed a major face-lift on the blog last week. I'd like to thank Kate Forbes and Rob Lane for all of the hard work they poured into getting this change rolled out. I think it looks fantastic and can’t wait to hear what everyone else thinks(comment below!). With the new template in place I was hoping to spend a few minutes talking about company blogs.

As you know blogs, as a medium, have arisen rapidly as a reliable source of news and information. There are still many companies that don't recognize the value this medium has to offer. The rise of micro-blogging (aka twitter) has made more companies comfortable with the idea of blogging. In the technology industry both blogging and micro-blogging have become a standard for large companies. As this medium continues to mature, we will see companies of all sizes adapting blogs as a necessary component to their marketing efforts.

An important piece about blogging is finding the right voice for your company. Getting the right people, or person, to lead your blog can increase the value your company offers its client base. It really is a platform that allows you to have casual, but professional, conversation with your prospects, clients, competitors and partners. Dave, Trask and I are hoping to build and maintain an insightful blog that helps you with tips, tricks and ideas for you and your company’s marketing efforts. You’ll find that our blog focuses on measurable marketing and gives insight on building successful marketing campaigns.

We really look forward to hearing your feedback on our upcoming tips, tricks and ideas.
